Domain 7: Organization and Administration
Standard 31: Be involved in public relation activities for the sport program
Benchmark: Communicate policies and ongoing program activities to athletes, staff, parents/guardians, administrators, and/or the public

Example: Social media pages to relay both training tips, upcoming events, athlete results/success, and important information the public should be aware of

Benchmark: Prepare Job descriptions and performance objectives for coaching assistants, managers, team captains and volunteers.

Sponsored Rider/Coach:
Dalzell Coaching LLC: Derek Dalzell

By reading and agreeing to the below terms, each party agrees to fulfill their portion of the agreement. If at anytime throughout the 2015 year a party is not performing their duties as outlined in the agreement, the other party can opt out of this contract without penalty. This agreement is put in place to ensure fair-play from both parties and help build the relationship of both parties involved. Both parties should strive to hit their required duties and acknowledge all sections of the contract.

Terms of the contract:

Rider will:
-    Post two times per week on social media in the terms of facebook posts, twitter posts, instagram, blogs, video’s, etc. The way a social media will count is when it is followed by #dalzellcoaching.  This allows for the posts to be tracked through social media search engines.
-    Seek and refer cyclists and triathletes to Dalzell Coaching as part of his sponsorship.
-    Pursue and earn a USAC coaching certification
-    Carbon Copy Dalzell Coaching on all emails to all Dalzell Coaching Clients
-    Put www.dalzellcoaching.com in his signature for slowtwitch.com
-    Write 1 article a month on training and being an athlete in the manner that both promotes Dalzell Coaching and their training programs.
-    Have the option to coach cyclists/triathletes for 70% of the monthly payment

Derek Dalzell will:
-    Monitor all social media positing from sponsored rider
-    Re-imburse sponsored rider $20 for every referred athlete that starts a training program with Dalzell Coaching
-    Re-imburse sponsored rider $10/month for every athlete that is referred and stays on board with Dalzell Coaching LLC
-    Re-imburse sponsored rider 70% of the athletes monthly payment if sponsored rider is coaching them. 30% will go to Dalzell Coaching LLC for business expenses and royalties
-    Re-imburse sponsored rider for the cost of a USAC coaching certification upon completion
-    Teach sponsored rider the philosophy of Dalzell Coaching as well as the art and science of coaching athletes

Non-Compete Clause
Sponsored rider is not allowed to athletically coach for money outside of Dalzell Coaching LLC for the 2015 year. If sponsored rider is found coaching for money outside of Dalzell Coaching, this contract is voided and future legal punishments may result.

I _______________________________  have both read and agree to the terms above. If I am unable to meet these obligations I understand that the contract could be voided and legal ramifications could take place. I am fully aware of my responsibility to act in both a professional and legal manner.
